Strych-Nine is now on YouTube - read on
The full length video, "Two Decades of Strych-Nine" has been completed and is now available.  Since the web site has not been upgraded jut yet, just e-mail us in order to receive a copy.

Every month a selected clip from the video will be posted on YouTube.  Just click the Raye Records link to view the current one playing.

Mixing has begun for the original material, with two songs complete.   The next original by Stevie G. will begin shortly.  In addition, a bass solo song is being considered.  This should prove interesting.  For a complete progression of the new original album see the project update below.
The final song for the cover album has been decided.  It was a shock to all of us to pick this particular song, since it dates back to the '40's!  However, the band has now been talking about adding an 11th song to the mix.  Again, check the project update below for progress on the cover album. 

We noticed that Russ has gone through about $150 worth of drum sticks (and he uses 3 lb mallets).  Looks like the new stuff will be "heavy".

As the new material becomes available, the web site will undergo a revamp.  It may be down for a day or two, but we'll let you know.  Also, an e-mail will go out to all that are on the list.  To get on the list just e-mail us: strychnine@juno.com and let us know to add you to our address book.

One song is complete, except for final mix
Three songs have the rhythm tracks complete and need lead guitar and  vocals
One new song has the bass complete
One song is in it's initial phases

New cover album ("Uncovered")
Eight songs are complete, except for the final mix
Two songs have the rhythm tracks in progress
One additional song is being considered

Just a note: we noticed that there is a band with the same name on MP3.com.  They formed in 1995 and are punk rock (we formed in 1991).  Also, on Metal Archives.com there are two other bands named Strychnine.  Since they spell their names differently, they can't be the real thing.  Don't be fooled by the wannabes and fakes.  Stick with the real thing!
